City of Birmingham Business Awards – Peter Adkins wins!
We are delighted to be able to announce that our Director of Regulatory Services, Peter Adkins won the coveted ‘Networker of the Year’ award at the second City of Birmingham Business Awards (COBBA).
The event which took place at the Edgbaston Banqueting Suite was attended by around 350 people from Birmingham’s business community.
The Awards returned following a spectacular inaugural event in 2017. This year’s #COBBA18 is described as the premier gala awards dinner in the city region, rewarding the leading organisations and business men and women from across the area.
The award winners are chosen by a public vote which counts for 50% and an awards judging panel then make their decision based on submissions from the Nominees.
Peter commented ‘I was very happy to be nominated for this award, and to win is the icing on the cake. I was delighted to share the awards dinner with so many members of Birmingham’s excellent business community.
‘When I joined Emms Gilmore Liberson over 2 years ago I was tasked with raising the firm’s profile locally, and this award is demonstrable proof that it is working. Thanks to everyone who voted for me’
Peter is currently raising funds to support Primrose Hospice in Bromsgrove by doing a tandem parachute jump. It is, as he says, in effect also a sponsored slim as he has had to lose nearly a stone to reach the maximum weight limit! If you’d like to support Peter he has a Just Giving page which can be reached here.
