Emms Gilmore Liberson teams up with the CIPHE to provide training video

The Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineering (CIPHE) has chosen Emms Gilmore Liberson to provide training videos on various legal topics as they affect the CIPHE members.

The videos form part of the CIPHE SmartTalk live series and can be found on their YouTube channel. SmartTalk, combined with the CIPHE industry leading TechTalk videos, are part of a comprehensive on-line training module.

The legal videos are to be supplemented by a series of articles which will appear in various trade journals.

The link to CIPHE came through our Director of Regulatory Services Peter Adkins who has dealt with members of the CIPHE for many years running a legal helpline for members. Peter is also a member of the Worshipful Company of Plumbers.

The first video features Peter Adkins and Sarah Bingham from our Regulatory Team.

The CIPHE, founded in 1906, is the professional body for the UK plumbing and heating industry. Membership is made up of individuals from a wide range of backgrounds including consultants, specifiers, designers, public health engineers, lecturers, trainers, trainees and practitioners.

The CIPHE has a membership of around 7,200 including approximately 170 manufacturers and distributors, which support its work as Industrial Associates. Whilst the majority of members live in the UK, some 800 are resident in Hong Kong and a further 300 are resident in over 30 other countries.

The first training video is to be quickly followed with others to provide companies with a guide to their legal, compliance, health and safety and other professional needs.

For more information on the CIPHE please see their website

At Emms Gilmore Liberson we provide a full range of services to the industry including commercial / corporate matters, property, litigation, employment, regulatory and compliance.
