Emms Gilmore Liberson appoints talented young lawyer
Birmingham law firm Emms Gilmore Liberson is continuing to invest in talented young lawyers with the appointment of a new solicitor to its commercial property department as the ambitious company continues to grow.
Sophie Crossley has joined the firm, upon qualification from BHW Solicitors in Leicester. Sophie has a law degree from the University of Birmingham, a Masters in Legal Practice and worked as an intern at law firm Shakespeares for two years before starting her training contract.
Sophie said: “Emms Gilmore Liberson has an impressive client base and I am excited to be joining the team to work on some really interesting projects. The directors have a wealth of experience which I hope to learn from whilst supporting my busy new colleagues and aiding the company’s growth.
Sophie will assist the commercial property team with lease transactions, sales, purchases, promotion and development agreements.
Mark Dakeyne, director at Emms Gilmore Liberson, said: “We’re delighted that Sophie has joined the team and believe she will prove to be a real asset to the business. Her appointment helps us expand our commercial property team following several new client wins and a period of sustained activity. Sophie’s knowledge of the property market is unusual in a young lawyer and her enthusiasm is the perfect fit for our team camaraderie.”
Emms Gilmore Liberson, which celebrated its fifth anniversary this year, is fast establishing itself as one of the region’s leading niche law firms, specialising in corporate and commercial transactions, commercial property, property and commercial litigation, regulatory and private client works.
