Elaine Howard

Elaine joined the firm in January 2014, having formerly been at SGH Martineau and international law firm, Gowlings WLG (formerly Wragge Lawrence Graham & Co).

Elaine deals with a wide variety of Employment queries for both commercial and private clients. The work handled by Elaine includes

  • the preparation of contractual and non-contractual documentation tailored to the specific needs of the employer,
  • provision of advice regarding disciplinary, grievance and redundancy procedures,
  • guidance on the TUPE process
  • assistance with tribunal claims.

Elaine is approachable, pragmatic and provides sensible and accurate advice with a commercial approach. She understands that employees are integral to any business and that when issues arise they need to be dealt with swiftly and efficiently whilst ensuring a fair process is followed and matters do not escalate.

In addition to her employment work Elaine also deals with a wide variety of commercial disputes including those arising out of complex business structures, multi-jurisdictional litigation, professional negligence claims, claims arising from personal guarantees and indemnities, and finance/banking litigation.
