Sarah Bingham

Sarah is an experienced commercial litigation solicitor who is pro-active in the delivery of her advice; regularly advising on all aspects of commercial work including intellectual property disputes.

Sarah has extensive experience in advising directors of companies involved in disqualification proceedings (under the Directors Disqualification Act 1986); obtaining and negotiating undertakings and/or obtaining relief to allow the director to continue to trade.  She also advises on directors’ guarantees and corporate insolvency.  Sarah’s experience also covers partnership disputes involving dissolutions, expulsions and proceedings for contributions from partners. This aspect of work has also involved her effecting the tracing assets for partners throughout the UK, Europe, and the Far East often involving worldwide freezing orders.

Sarah also specialises in all aspects of regulatory work including, HMRC investigations and Trading Standards. She advises clients in relation to all aspects of consumer legislation, including the steps to be taken practically if breaches are alleged as well as negotiating and liaising with Trading Standards to prevent prosecution but if necessary by Court representation.

In addition to this work Sarah has represented and advised Trustees in Bankruptcy concerning the sale of bankruptcy assets and relevant proceedings in relation to fraudulent trading, including involving tracing offshore accounts and assets in such places as the Channel Islands and Belize.
