Simon joined Emms Gilmore Liberson in November 2014, having previously worked with Mark Dakeyne and Beth Margetson. Following a masters in engineering, Simon trained as a solicitor and qualified in London in 2000, working at Berwin Leighton Paisner before returning to the Midlands in 2006.
Simon’s varied client base includes developers, retail and corporate occupiers, investors, charities and the education sector. He has undertaken a number of unusual transactions and his clients value his broad expertise in property matters, dealing with everything from a straightforward purchase to insolvencies, auctions and overseas investment in the UK.
Simon will always take an efficient commercial approach; legal fees should not be the bar to a deal being done. His clients appreciate his pragmatic and straightforward advice and his interest in the property involved.
Simon previously sat on the executive committee of Solihull Chamber of Commerce and from 2012 to 2015 was a regular columnist for Truck and Track magazine. He is trustee of a charity based in south Birmingham.
